Let the rumpus begin!

Welcome to the summer season! We'll be open every week from 9-1:30 starting this Sunday. Come celebrate with us by settling down at one of our colorful cafe tables, enjoying your favorite market brunch, and listening to Milton's lively set from 10:30-12:30.

We have some new vendors joining our lineup this summer that we're very excited about.

La Milpa de Rosa Tortilleria will be selling real nixtamal corn tortillas, masa, and chipsChoose from  blue or regular corn tortillas to make thesechilaquiles. or these tacos.

La Roux Trading Co., will be bringing flour and grains from Wild Hive Farm, which uses an Amish-style stone-burr mill and granite grinding stones

They will also be bringing the entire line of Chaseholm Creamery cheeses, adding a bit more variety to our cheese offerings at the market.

Also new,  and coming this Sunday: Mambo Osteria, yes, the restaurant directly across the street, will be selling their fabulous focaccia sandwiches (prosciutto, caprese, roasted eggplant)  to fill the void left behind by our longtime vendor, Joe Tomato.

We are also thrilled to bring you a new orchard into our market family! Mead Orchard has been growing fruit and vegetables in the Hudson Valley for over 100 years, and you can taste their dedication in the quality of their berries and fruit. What's more, come berry season, they will be offering no-spray blueberries which makes us very happy.

And, also making their first appearance this week: Zeena Bakery, an Arabic bakery specializing in flavors from the Levant region. They make traditional Arabic cookies called maamoul and barazek as well as pita bread, focaccia with Arabic spices, and various dips like spicy muhammara and sweet potato.

Of course, all your favorites are returning for the summer, including Titusville Farm which has become a fan favorite since they joined us this winter. They will be bringing more flowers later in June, in addition to their lovely organic produce.

The Hampton Grocer, with their almond butter and chocolate chunk granola, is also back to make beautiful music with yogurt from The White Moustache.

As you explore the market this week, make sure to stop at Tivoli Mushrooms can be your one-stop shop for the main ingredients in this buttery, caramelized fiddlehead and mushroom galette. Fiddleheads are only available fresh for a few weeks a year, and they have arrived! Similar to asparagus, their mild grassy flavor pairs well with umami-packed mushrooms and creamy cheddar from Aux Bons Fromages

Fresh horseradish root from Halal Pastures Farm, which can be prepared at home and keeps well in the fridge, lends its spice to roasted salmon with mustard potatoes for a flavor-packed spring dinner. In just 45 minutes, you can dress up a perfectly moist fillet with crispy, tangy potatoes and/or any spring greens you love to roast.

Make sure to check out Wendy Enoch Pottery's gorgeous, handmade soap dishes, mugs, painting cups, and more for a one-of-a-kind gift (for yourself or others!).

We're so excited for summer!
