It's official: Fall is here!

And the proof is in the produce bins! Apples, delicata squash, Concord Grapes and beets. Come and get 'em!

Last week, Stoneberry Farm and Caradonna Farm were showcasing beautiful string beans. If you’re looking for a quick dish, you can flash boil them in salted water (don't overcook!) for a lovely side dish, but if you want to prepare something a bit more involved,  pick up fresh pasta from La Trafila and cook it with green beans and almond gremolata. You can also serve them up in a warm salad with radishes and purple potatoes from Stoneberry Farm or grill them in foil pouch with a salmon filet from Pura Vida and the last of the corn from Wright’s Farm.

Over at Madura Farm, there are bright bunches of carrots, which are perhaps my all-time favorite veggie. You can do so much with them, and they’re delicious whether eaten raw with AYA Hummusslow-roasted with carrot-top pesto and burrata from Maplebrook Cheese, or pickled with ginger for use as a brightening ingredient throughout the week.

You can also pick up some rice from Great Joy Family Farm to use in this instant pot carrot-saffron risotto or make some decadent chocolate-carrot snacking cake with cream cheese frosting

Wright's Farm has some gorgeous figs and you should most definitely buy some to make this apple and fig custard

Anish Supreme Foods returns with her fantastic tahini cakes which have legions of followers.

Some vendors we’ve missed over the past few weeks will be with us again on Sunday, so make sure you stop by DoughCo Bagels, Ici et La Creations, Jody’s Kitchen, and Salsa Wallito. If you have any kitchen knives that need sharpening, you’re in luck! Ready Set Sharp! Knife Sharpening will be parked at the market and ready to help you out after a long recovery from hand surgery.

XOLO Food, vegetarian Mexican cuisine, sold out of their incredible versions of "chicken" and "tuna" salad at the last market, so make sure to swing by early for those!

Milton will be playing from 10:30-12:30, and you'll want to stick around for their set. Rumor has it that Milton will be bringing his beautiful baby girl, Ava, to boot.

We’ll see you at the market!
