New year, new vendors at the winter market!

There’s so much to explore at IFM, and we’re excited to see you there!

2024 is off to a great start here at IFM! We’ll be setting up shop inside the warm and cozy Main Street School auditorium this Sunday, with a few vendors outside near the school's entrance. Please make sure to heed our winter starting time of 9:30 a.m.!

We have a fantastic group of new vendors who will be with us for the winter season, so let’s highlight some of what they have in store: I always drink more tea when it gets colder outside, and Boogie Down Bronx Honey pairs perfectly with Teagevity’s delicious blends. You can also use their flavorful local honey in a marinade for chicken from R&M Farm or blend it with wintry herbs and apples from Caradonna Farm in a warm and homey honey apple pie. Honey is versatile, delicious, and adds a beautiful dimension to all kinds of flavors. White Moustache Yogurt, is the talk of the Rivertowns. One bite of their quince, sour cherry or even plain creamy yogurt and you will be hooked. Consider yourself warned!

Hudson Valley Fish Farm is with us again, with their smoked trout lox and fresh trout, delicious when baked with a pomegranate marinade and fresh veggies from Madura Farm or served raw in steelhead trout poke

If you swing by Kariba Farms’ table, you’ll find a lovely selection of organic snacks, like beet or plantain chips and nut mixes, and almond flour that would be delicious when baked into a fragrant almond cake or quinoa that holds flavor beautifully, especially when cooked with greens from Sun Sprout Farm in this one-pot kale and quinoa pilaf. Along with The Lentil Co.’s seasoned ready-to-eat lentils and Anish Supreme Foods’ energy bites, your next snack is in capable hands.

If you’ve been to Hungary, then you know Hungarians pride themselves on their extraordinary baking skills and the patisseries and cakes served at tearooms in Budapest are insanely good.  We're so happy to welcome The Countryside Baker, specializing in Hungarian treats as well as some gluten-free baked goods. Please give them a warm Irvington welcome.

The holidays are over and now it's time to treat yourself to something special! Myriad Mirage is here with their botanical, whimsical jewelry and Copper Faucet Soap Co. has irresistible soaps, candles and diffusers.

See you at the market!
